Tech Advertising
About This Project: I recently completed two advertisement projects for two different technology companies: one for fiber optic cables and cable installations, and the other for an aerospace technology engineering company. Both companies did not have updated advertisement templates to use for new ads and needed new ones for print and digital media. They also had a tight deadline of less than two weeks.
As the sole designer, I was directly responsible for the overall look. My goal was to provide a clean and modern aesthetic to stand out among competitors by focusing on textures, soft opacities and diagonal lines. I worked closely with the marketing director and CEO for both companies to ensure their satisfaction and streamline feedback. My main idea was to focus on the product first, as the images would guide the users to the selling points. The objective was to sell the product, so the imagery, shapes and lines needed direct the user toward the photos and text.
I used color theory, alignment, and order of hierarchy helped achieve a result that would convince a customer of the high quality of the product. The colors were chosen to match the brand identity and industry standards. The alignment was used to create balance and harmony within the layout. The order of hierarchy was used to emphasize the most important information and guide the user's eye.
I targeted the ads to different audiences: for the fiber optics company, I aimed to attract new customers looking for installation materials; for the aerospace engineering company, I wanted to appeal to both existing and potential customers for new projects. The final result was a set of advertisement templates prepared in advance for various media platforms and print publications. Both clients praised my work for its professional look, timely execution and overall positive results in the market.
