SCANDIS Responsive Web

About This Project: SCANDIS wanted to shift their online storefront to a new ecommerce platform and needed a huge revision to their web content and product pages. The main challenge was to ensure maximum accessibility and usability for all visitors to the website, especially on small screens and mobile devices.

As part of a team of designers, I worked closely with the customer service, ecommerce and marketing departments to configure the existing web content onto a new responsive format. My role involved redesigning some of the key pages, such as terms and conditions, best price guaranteed, and product details, to make them more user-friendly and understandable.

One of the goals was to condense information, reduce reading length, and eliminate redundancy, while keeping the core policies understandable for shoppers. For example, the "Best Price Guaranteed" page that was previously listed as bullet points was redesigned into an infographic and two columns to ensure better readability. The infographic was sliced and exported in a specific way to stack responsively instead of simply shrink in size, which would make the text in the image too small to read.

This was a huge project that lasted 8 months and involved a lot of collaboration and feedback from different stakeholders. The result was a responsive web content design that enhanced the online shopping experience for SCANDIS customers and increased their conversion rate by 15%.
