Unending Lands Children’s Book

About This Project: Unending Lands is a children's book and personal project of mine, a literary diary of "thought sketches" where each chapter lends its own mini-adventure and mystery. My desire with this project was to enjoy the process of developing a children's chapter book from start to finish and play with whimsical moments in the illustrations and visual layout. Unending Lands was published digitally and available in print for a limited time. The story centers around a curious rabbit-like creature who embarks on a quest to find the sender of a mysterious letter left on his doorstep. Along the way, he encounters various landscapes and cities, each with its own history, mythology and wonder.

The book is composed of 28 chapters, each accompanied by simple illustrations in the style of sketched diary entries recorded by the hero. One of the unique characteristics of this book is the subtly shifting color scheme that changes gradually from one chapter to the next, creating a rainbow effect along the edge of the pages, noticeable when the book is closed.

Unending Lands intended to appeal to children and adults alike, who enjoy whimsical stories and imaginative visuals.
